I Feel Loved - The Making Of The Music Video (2001)
Video Recorded: April 27th, 2001 Video Director: Daniel Barassi Video Source: NTSC Hi8
On April 27th, 2001, the band were in Hollywood, California, shooting the video for "I Feel Loved". The webmaster was at the shoot, videotaping hours of behind the scenes footage. Clear some hard drive space, and enjoy the best footage from the videoshoot!
Part One is mainly outdoor shots, with video ID's from David, Martin and Andy. Guest appearances include Andrew Philpott, Anton Corbijn and Richard Bell, among others.
Part Two is most of the indoor footage from the Opium Den (the location for the videoshoot). Highlights include the band singing in double time (done to achieve the slow motion effect in the finished video), David doing some Bono impressions, and the band covering U2's "Sunday Bloody Sunday" (they had just gone to the U2 show at the Arrowhead Pond the night before).
Part Three is compiled footage from the many takes the band did of the song (different camera angles, et cetera). This video re-edit is exclusive to depechemode.com. While not meant to be a proper music video, it allows you to see many of the different takes at one time.
These clips originally appeared on the web site on August 28th, 2001.
